What would be your dream job and how did EME put you closer to this goal?
After attaining PE licensure in the future, I would like to start my own engineering consulting firm that focuses primarily on the environmental aspects of the mining industry. Courses I’ve taken in the EME department have exposed me to the significance of mining in our transition to a green future.
What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
I am the President of Penn State’s Society of Environmental Systems Engineers (SESE).
What is the one Penn State activity that everyone should participate in, and why?
Everybody should attend a Penn State football game!
Why did you decide to attend Penn State?
I wanted to attend a large, public university with lots of school spirit and an ABET-accredited Environmental Engineering program.
What opportunities has Penn State provided for you so far?
I have had the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research projects of my own design with the guidance of Professors and graduate students. I have also had countless opportunities to network and interview with Penn State alumni and companies in my career field.
