Do I get my diploma at commencement?
Diplomas are mailed after commencement. See the University Registrar website for more information.
Do I need to have everything on my audit marked satisfied before I apply for graduation?
No, your degree audit is not checked at the time you apply for graduation — when you apply, you are just putting your name on a list. After the intent-to-graduate activation period ends, college and department staff begin checking the list of students who have applied to ensure that everything on their audits is satisfied. It is much easier for both the staff and you if you have everything on your audit marked as satisfied by the end of the intent-to-graduate period, or very soon after it ends. You will not be able to graduate if you still have requirements on your audit marked unsatisfied at the time final graduation checks are done.
