About:
Mark Fedkin is an associate teaching professor and a lead faculty for the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems online Master’s program and for the Energy and Sustainability Policy online Bachelor’s program. His professional interests are in the areas of renewable energy and environmental sustainability. After finishing his doctorate degree in Geo-Environmental Engineering at Penn State, Fedkin has worked for the Earth and Mineral Sciences Energy Institute (Penn State) for fifteen years doing research on electrochemical technologies and materials for energy conversion. Over the past decade, he has been heavily involved in developing curriculum for the two Departmental online programs and led initiatives and partnerships to promote sustainability education and workforce training for energy transition.
