The John and Willie Leone Family Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering has two computer facilities that include a PC-based laboratory available to students on a 24-hour basis. The facilities are located in 318 Hosler and 7 Hosler. Individuals are expected to exercise responsibility and ethical behavior when using the University’s computer information, networks and resources.
Upon admission to the University, all students are notified of the University’s computer policy, Policy AD-20, Computer Network Security. Students should also read Information Technology's Policies, Guidelines, and Laws. A student in our department can obtain access to the EME computer lab by filling out an access form, which can be obtained outside 318 Hosler Building. Robert Byers is the contact person for computer issues.
In order to enter the computer lab in 318 Hosler, you must input the correct access code for the lab door. The code is: 6248*. In order to enter the computer lab in 7 Hosler, you must enter through room 6 by entering 3, then 2, then turning the handle.
Questions about the EME computer lab should be directed to Robert Byers, EME computer lab supervisor.
