Biographical Sketch
Zhen Lei is currently an Assistant Professor of Energy and Environmental Economics. He has expertise in both economics and science, holding a Ph.D. degree in Economics and a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry. His research interests include economics of innovation, intellectual property policy and entrepreneurship, energy and environmental economics, science and technology policy, and industrial organization.

Dr. Lei's research interests include innovation, intellectual property rights and entrepreneurship, energy and environmental economics, industrial organization, and science and technology policy. Presently, he works on patent evaluation in the context of international patenting and patent litigation, technology innovation and technology transfer in addressing climate change, economics of electricity markets, and energy and environmental issues related to China, his home country.
