This course addressed the following topics: an update on MSHA coal and metal/nonmetal diesel regulations; strategies and technologies for controlling exposure of underground miners to diesel particulate matter and gases; emissions assisted maintenance; reformulated fuels in underground mines; and selection and implementation of exhaust aftertreatment technologies.
