Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Penn State Student Chapter
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is affiliated with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering degree program with the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. Currently, we have approximately fifty undergraduate and graduate members enrolled in our chapter. We provide:
- Mentoring of freshmen and sophomores
- Leadership skills training
- Help with resumes
- Extracurricular involvement
- Qualified students who have been exposed to the society through our mentoring program to fill offices
