Department Changes Name to Energy and Mineral Engineering

As of May 18, 2007, the Department of Energy and Geo-Environmental Engineering officially changed its name to the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering (EME). While we're still offering the same great programs, our new name is designed to reflect the majors within the academic unit, the primary industries that they serve, their rich heritage, and their forward-looking future. We also believe that this name better encompasses our many constituents.
Visitors to our web site should be aware that, alongside our new department name, the URL to our web site has also been changed to http://www.eme.psu.edu. The old web address will forward to this new site; however, you should update your bookmarks as necessary.
