There are many diverse employment opportunities available through the programs in the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering. Job opportunities are available in industry, government agencies, private consulting companies, and universities.

Internship opportunities are available through the Penn State Engineering Cooperative Education Program. This is an academic program where you alternate semesters of classroom study with semesters of paid, progressive, career-related experiences in industry through your junior and senior years.
